How Can ‘Sceptics’ Get the Proof They Need That The Law of Attraction is Working in Their Lives?
27 December 2008
Are you one of those folks that needs to figure-it-out all the time? Are you one of those Law of Attraction students who catches yourself saying things like, “I wonder how this is going to come to me?” or, “What do I need to figure out so I know what to do next (to manifest what I desire)?”
Attention Law of Attraction Students!
Stop trying to figure out where/how/when your manifestation is going to come! It’s not your job!
Here’s a great tool that will help all of you ‘figure-it-outers’ reduce your need to figure it out. Those of you who are thinkers need to see it or know it before you can fully accept that The Law of Attraction exists and is working in your life. You need proof before you can STOP being a sceptic. Ideally, if I could show you a test tube with Law of Attraction ‘proof’ inside it, or a Petri dish with Law of Attraction growing in it, that would be all the proof you’d require. The Law of Attraction does provide us with proof, however, it’s not found in test tubes and Petri dishes.
One of the best tools for getting the proof you need is to begin recording personal evidence of every coincidence or every ‘out of the blue’ experience that happens to you. HINT: Every time you use the words or phrases: serendipity, coincidence, synchronicity, every thing is falling into place, and out of the blue—you are actually gathering your own proof that The Law of Attraction is working in YOUR life!
Folks who are thinkers and ‘figure-it-outers’ simply need this gathering of evidence to reduce their scepticism. Scepticism or doubt produces negative vibrations. More doubt attracts more negative vibration, and as we all know, The Law of Attraction is working in every moment to match our vibration and bring us more of the same, whether wanted or unwanted. Doubt slows down the speed of the delivery of our desires. It’s important to reduce that negative vibration; the less doubt or scepticism we have, the faster we manifest.
Proof does just that! Gathering proof through keeping a log and recording each personal experience of The Law of Attraction reduces doubt for the sceptic. Gathering proof replaces those negative vibrations with the positive vibrations of knowing that The Law of Attraction is indeed working for you, the thinker!
If you are a sceptic, a thinker, or a figure-it-outer, start your log of evidence today. By the time you have logged 7 or 8 personal experiences of The Law of Attraction working in your life, you will be well on your way to knowing through evidence and proof, that The Law of Attraction is working in YOUR life! Enjoy the relief of letting The Law of Attraction arrange, figure it all out, and bring you your desires. It is the recording of evidence and the celebrating of proof that will raise your vibration. Practice using this great tool. You’ll be giving more attention to your desires, doing more allowing and speeding up the delivery of your manifestations.

Back On Track
25 December 2008
I truly believe unless we are doing what brings us joy, we need to think twice about what we’re doing, why we’re doing it and even take it a step further by finding the courage to do something about it so the joy is there.
For the past couple of months I’ve been going through a bit of a metamorphosis personally and in my business. Because of this, I’ve eliminated everything that no longer felt right for me with the business and replaced it with all that is in alignment with my heart and Soul.
The more I delve into my spiritual growth, the more I understand that less really is more. I’ve come to understand at a profound level that there is nothing we have to add to ourselves in order for us to be more spiritual.
In fact, as you allow yourself to release anything and everything that isn’t working in your life, the freer you become and the lighter you feel, enabling you to soar to heights you might never have imagined before.
You see, the less encumbered you are with stuff, unnecessary responsibilities, and people in your life who constantly drain you, the more you give yourself the opportunity to know who you really are at your Soul level. This in turn clears the space for you to attract into your life exactly what it is you desire.
It’s the in between moments of your life, those blank spaces, that you will find your peace and true Self during each part of your life’s journey. These blank spaces represent the simplicity of life, and the more you create these spaces, the more you will find yourself awakening the Genie within and living a life true to your heart. The benefit of this is two-fold. You have more peace and clarity in your life, and, you bring greater joy to everyone you come in contact with.
When I decided to do an overhaul of my website and coaching practice, I knew it was necessary to let go of the direction the business was heading. There were certain expectations and suggestions from others, in regard to my business, that left me feeling disconnected from my vision. Change and letting go isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary if you intend to grow and prosper in every area of your life, and more importantly, if you want to stay true to your Self.
For me, the change I needed to create involved going back to the basics. And when you go back to the basics, you will often find yourself returning to a state of calm, feeling connected to Spirit and your Soul, once again. It is this connection that makes everything in your life right.
Dr. Wayne Dyer gives a beautiful and simple definition of the word spiritual in his book, There’s A Spiritual Solution To Every Problem. He states:
“Then these are the 7 ways I define spiritual: Surrender, Love, Infinite, Empty (Empty Mind), Generous, Connectedness and Cheerful.” He goes on to elaborate on each of these words in the book.
Here are 7 ways I define Soul in a similar fashion: Love, Wisdom, Truth, Harmony, Genuine, Joyful and Peaceful. Perhaps in another newsletter, I’ll elaborate on these words as well.
Wherever you are on your journey’s path, I ask that you observe it from a bird’s eye view so you can see it more clearly and determine if it’s one that still feels right for you.
Are you connected or disconnected? Are you moving along with a skip in your step or dragging your feet? Are you in a place of surrender or struggle? Are you being genuine or wearing a mask? Are you full of love or frustration? Are you listening to your voice or someone else’s?
Be honest with yourself as you answer these questions, because you are the one who must live with the consequences of your response everyday. You may have to dig deep to discover your truth, but I promise you, it’s there. Do yourself a huge favor and take whatever inspired actions you need to, so you too, can experience the definitions of spiritual and Soul. And please know that I am always here, should you need any assistance in doing this.

Hair Loss Is a Cause for Concern
18 December 2008
Losing hair is not only a cosmetic problem though it can’t be denied that it can bring down your self-confidence and self esteem to a worrying degree. Hair loss can be indicative of more serious problems as well. So, the sooner we do something about it the better it is.
Let’s begin by understanding what it is and how it is caused. Baldness or alopecia is a state of losing excessive hair. You must know that losing 50 to 100 hairs in a day is considered normal. It’s when you lose more than that you should sit up and take note of the problem. Baldness can be the result of heredity, certain medications or an underlying medical condition. Anyone men, women and children can experience hair loss. However, in most cases it is caused by today’s stressful lifestyle, long working hours, pollution, poor diet, combined with alcohol, drugs and smoking.
There’s not much you can do about factors like heredity, but you can correct the other factors and improve the quality of your hair. Remember, hair loss is not an irreversible process. Hair is a bi-product of blood. Therefore to treat the hair and scalp, you cannot obtain a good result by using topical lotions alone. You cannot feed the hair externally. If you could, the shampoo or conditioner would do wonders. It is logical therefore to take care of your scalp and the composition of your blood. The composition of your blood and state of your scalp determine the quality and growth of your hair.
Your overall diet affects your blood. You must supplement your diet with live enzymes to help absorb vitamins in the body. They are normally only found in raw fruit and vegetables and uncooked food. You should drink lots of water also. Never comb your wet hair and never use a thin comb. Also avoid hot air dryers; let the hair dry naturally.
Stimulating the scalp is another way to tackle the problem of hair loss. You should massage your scalp with a tangy lotion to increase the blood flow around the hair follicles. Nourishments reaching the hair follicles will stimulate the hair to grow much fuller, shinier and healthier.
If you are losing large amounts of hair, see a physician. Hair loss may be caused by some health conditions such as high cholesterol levels. Often the hair grows back when the cause is corrected
If hair loss occurs at an age when you can afford to let it be, you should let your hair loss run its course untreated and unhidden. However, if it happens when you’re still too young to go around with a baldhead you may either cover it up with hairstyles, makeup, hats or scarves or choose one of the medications and surgical procedures that are available to treat hair loss. But, before pursuing any of these treatment options, talk to your doctor about the cause and best possible treatment for your hair loss.

Best Acne Treatments Start With Understanding Your Current Lifestyle
30 November 2008
If you happen to be searching for the best acne treatments, before you choose your treatment I would suggest that you take a little memory trip back to your teen years, and assess how your skin used to be back then.
For individuals still in their teens, I would recommend that you check and see what is going on in your life right now, and see what may be different or has changed prior to you having your problem skin!
I know most of you may think that it’s all part of nature, or it’s part of your family genetics, and you would like to find that miracle cure! However, the true problem may exist because of your lifestyle choices, and until you fully understand why you’re currently experiencing severe blemish breakouts, or increased blackheads in your pores, you can then follow the cycle of your consistent outbreaks that cause you to feel helpless in your battle.
It’s a fact that our society is placing more pressures on students, and many working individuals. Schools are placing more study loads on the student, and the business industry is downsizing, causing more hours to be placed on the employees! What this does to your body and your mind is that it places an incredible load of stress on you, as well as the affects, which can easily change your daily lifestyle.
You may be asking, how does this all come into play with my acne condition, and how do I connect these facts to my acne treatment?
There are many studies out today indicating that “stress” and the way you take care of your body, and the products you may be using are a contributing factor to your pimples and blackheads. If you can look back when you had good skin and see what you may have been doing differently, you could hopefully make some lifestyle changes for the better. With these changes, you could possibly see positive results, and avoid having to take acne medications prescribed by your dermatologist.
There are many elements that can be contributing to your skin blemishes, and the ingredients in the select treatment product you’re using can also be the cause of your skin irritation, which is causing your reoccurring pimple breakouts. So let’s look at some topics that have come up in some studies, and see if we can clarify some of the elements that may be affecting your current lifestyle.
Facial Medications, Caffeine, Stress, And The Sun! What Do They Have In Common, And How Does It Affect Your Blemish Situation?
I’m not a doctor, and I don’t have any professional skin care background, but what I do have is a common sense approach to issues. When I read about certain acne products, and also the food and drink we consume on a daily basis, plus the type of life we live makes sense to me when we mix it all together and try and link it to our skin condition.
First we should talk about coffee, pop and alcohol, and see what the connection is to skin problems. In my opinion, the way I interpret coffee, pop and alcohol is that they contribute several elements to your body that assist in major changes to your skin.
Caffeine and sugar in coffee and pop, plus alcohols are partial diuretics that assist in drawing more water out of your body than bringing water back in, plus they’re a stimulant and can prevent you from getting the recommended amount of sleep that your body needs, which ranges from at least 7 to 8 hours per night. What this all means is that by consuming these products daily, they could be changing the entire dynamics of your body, and affecting you dramatically without you even realizing the changes.
What happens is this: your body may become over stimulated with all these items going through your system, and either consumed separately or in combination, your skin may seriously become affected by these products. Depending on your body’s tolerance level, your reactions could be reflected by the daily consumption.
Let’s look at the connection of the cleansers, creams, and acne cosmetics you’re currently using, and see why some may not work to prevent your acne breakouts or increased blackheads. When taking a common sense approach to the ingredients, avoid any product that will shrink your pores! Now this information may contradict products that say they reduce pore size, and make them look less visible.
What that means I don’t know. But when you think about it for a moment, if you have a product that shrinks your pores, that’s going to increase the chance that you will have more oil trapped in your skin. The more of the skin’s oil that is potentially blocking your pores, the higher chance you’re going to form blackheads and whiteheads, plus the trapped oil will be tasty food for bacteria that feeds off the oil and dead skin, eventually turning it into a nasty blemish. Think about that, and if it makes sense to you, then avoid products that have any astringent agents in them.
The sun is one that I have been very confused about for a long time, but again when it was explained to me, it made total sense, and now I really understand the benefits and the damages it can cause. The sun actually can help you in your battle on acne; however, the time you spend in the sun can make the big difference. I found out that the sun actually aids in killing bacteria on your skin, but you should limit your time to approximately 15 minutes per day, because when you spend long periods of time in the sun, it will eventually dry and reduce the pores in your skin. Now like above, what happens when the pores shrink? Absolutely, trapped oil and the formation of zits!
Stress, in my opinion, is the biggest contributor to your body’s lifestyle changes, and believe it or not, it seems to tie in with everything above, because stress is caused by many elements from the types of food you consume, to the everyday lifestyle you lead with your work and play.
Again, I’m not a doctor, but even with my own body I notice that if I don’t get enough sleep, or I worry about a project that has to be completed, and the everyday choices I make in cleaning my skin all is in some way a contributor to stress, and the changes in my body. So when you sit back and see if you can adjust anything in the way you live your life for the better, you may be on the right track to not only a healthier lifestyle, but also clearer, blemish free skin!

Male Body Hair Removal: Men’s Hair Removal Options
30 November 2008
Male body hair removal is an increasingly popular option for men and there are many options available depending on your requirements.
Gone are the days when male body hair removal was a topic only of interest to athletes like body builders or swimmers who wanted to improve their look or performance by ridding themselves of unwanted hair.
When it comes to hair removal for men, part of the problem might be figuring out what options are available, the cost and time involved, pros and cons of each option and related questions that guys want to know the answer to.
Essentially, the same hair removal options that women utilize are usually available for men, too. Some of the body parts you want treated might be a bit different (ie. back, chest) than the ones women want treated but the processes themselves are often the same.
Plus, smart hair removal practitioners are increasingly marketing themselves to men as they realize that more and more men are interested in their services.
I’ve utilized a number of different hair removal options including hair removal creams, waxing, sugaring and light-based treatments and have generally had good experiences with each but better experiences with others.
Plus, let’s not forget that perhaps the most common hair removal option for men and women is also one that most of us will partake in at one point or another during our lives.
Of course I’m talking about shaving.

A Dozen Don’ts To Look Younger
24 November 2008
Tired of always being told you have to do more and spend more too look younger? How would you like to do less and spend less yet look younger? Well now it’s possible. All you have to do is avoid these 12 most common beauty mistakes made by women over forty and you will look younger, healthier, and more attractive.
1. Don’t use foundation that’s lighter then your skin color. You will look pale, washed out and unhealthy.
2. Don’t use powder foundation it tends to collect in creases and make wrinkles more prominent
3. Don’t use frosted eye shadow, because its frosted particles settle into lid lines accentuating wrinkles.
4. Don’t use iridescent eye shadow it attracts light and draws attention to lines.
5. Don’t use brown eye shadows they tend to age the face and create a tired appearance.
6. Don’t use black eyeliner it is to harsh and will emphasize any fine lines around the eyes.
7. Don’t use overly light under eye concealer this will illuminate any imperfections and lines in the under eye area.
8. Don’t over pluck your eyebrows; a very fine brow gives your face an aged look. .
9. Don’t use too pale, too dark, or too bright color cosmetics. Anything bold, unnatural, and overpowering on the face makes it appear older and unattractive.
10. Don’t apply your blusher too high or too low. If you want to create a natural, younger lift look to your face never apply blush any lower than the bottom of your nose or any higher up than the outside corner of the eye.
11. Don’t apply your makeup too heavy because as the skin ages it starts to lose its firmness. Heavily applied makeup tends to slide into and accentuate lines and furrows.
12. Don’t over exaggerate your lip line it will look phony even clown like.

Five Easy Guidelines for Acne Skin Care
29 September 2008
Are you having acne problem? Have you done something about it? No need to worry, almost everyone has a problem with acne. Nearly all of high-school-age girls to older women, even including men, experience this skin care problem. Acne may not be a dangerous skin disease, but the common appearance, especially if it becomes worse and severe, can become a very serious problem. Thus, you’re going to need a significant acne skin care.
Before going further to acne skin care, it will be best to get to know more about acne. It is a skin disorder caused by hormones on the skin’s oil glands. This leads to open skin pores and cause some spots, annoying ones, to emerge. These spots are called acne and usually occur on the face, neck, back, and chest.
A permanent blemish and scar caused by acne should be treated seriously. Besides it may distress the people who are affected, it can also lead to a worse skin condition. Here are some easy guidelines how to treat the acne - and to give care to your skin in general:
1. The first and most important to do is gently wash your skin, especially your face, at least twice a day. Use a mild cleanser and after that, clean your skin with water. Ask your dermatologist about what kind of cleanser to be used according to your skin type.
2. Use appropriate acne products, which you can get by asking your doctor. Allow some time for the medicine to work as suggested by the doctor or as said in the instruction. You’ll see the improvement later, which usually takes several weeks.
3. Be careful when using cosmetics. You should use ones that are oil free, since oily skin is believed to be one of the factors that contribute to the emergence of acne.
4. Take vitamins for your skin. Vitamin E is the best one for a good skin. You can consume it through some fresh foods (fruits and vegetables) or simply just take vitamin E tablets available at drug stores.
5. Start a new healthy lifestyle by doing a balanced diet. Eat healthy foods, namely the low-fat and fresh ones. Don’t forget to drink a lot of water since it helps bring out toxin from the body.
You see from the above guidelines that there’s no difficulty at all in acne care, right? You just need to live clean and healthy to have a good skin. So, why not start a new lifestyle today? And buy only quality products - for a long-lasting healthy skin ever.

Practical Acne Treatments For Girls
9 September 2008
Girls go through many physical and psychological changes during puberty. These changes include body composition, fat distribution, menstruation, growth spurts, body and facial hair growth, body odor and skin changes. The body physically changes as the fat tissue increases in the hips, thighs, and breasts producing the typical hourglass shape of females. With all these changes going on, what effect does acne have on girls during puberty?
During puberty girls experience an increased likelihood and severity of acne from the increased oil secretions in the skin. Puberty is often a difficult time and acne only adds to the difficulty. During puberty girls usually experience increased irritability, mood swings, and feelings of low self esteem. Even girls who have been very sure of themselves may suffer from low self esteem when puberty sets in. These changes may be even more severe in the girl also suffers from acne.
The negative changes in girls during puberty are made even worse if acne is a problem. You can help deal with the changes when you know how to lessen the problems of acne.
Practical Acne Treatments For Girls…
Proper skin care is the first step in treating acne. The face should be gently washed with a facial cleanser. There are many skin care products on the market that may help with acne. To kill the bacteria that cause acne the cleanser should contain salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or sulfur. Gentle cleansing is an important factor when dealing with acne. A common mistake is to clean the face too often and with harsh cleansers. Careful cleaning of the face twice a day is the best way to go.
There are some cosmetics that can be detrimental if you are trying to control acne so it is important to use non-comedogenic products. Non-comedogenic products are less likely to cause acne, blackheads or block the pores of the skin. Today there are many non-comedogenic products available, such as makeup, lip stick, moisturizers, and even acne medicated makeup.
The changes experienced during puberty can take a mental and physical toll on girls. The onset of acne certainly makes these changes even harder to deal with. It is a good idea to visit with a dermatologist if the acne can not be controlled with over-the-counter medications. A dermatologist will understand the changes that are associated with acne and will be able to offer advice and treatment programs. It’s also important to be understanding and offer support to girls as they go through the difficult time of puberty.

Stress - The Main Cause Of Adult Acne
19 August 2008
The latest statistics from the American Dermatological society suggests that adult acne is much more widespread than most of us imagine, more and more adults are getting acne then ever before. In fact almost 50% of women and 25 % of men are affected by adult acne, at some point in their lives.
Like teenage acne the exact cause of adult acne remains largely unknown. However one of the biggest contributing factors to adult acne is increased levels of stress that people now suffer from. For many, adult acne seems to come out of the blue, while others get it in there teens and never seem to get rid of it. Nobody really knows why so many more people are getting adult acne later on in life, but there does appear to be a clear link with stress.
Stress is thought to interfere with the normal hormonal balance. If you’ve been under a lot of pressure recently and you’ve started suffering from adult acne, the best thing you can do, is to address the source of the stress. Until the stress is under control you won’t see a dramatic improvement in your acne.
The standard treatments for adult acne are similar to those employed for teenage acne using mainly topical products, many of which contain benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is used to kill the P. Acnes located in the clogged pores. The use of topical solutions (creams, gels or lotions) targets the result or symptoms of acne and not the cause. It also often dries not only “pimples” but also the skin around them. In adult acne it is especially important to limit the number of pimples since dermatologists have known for many years that adult acne is more likely to leave permanent physical scars. The increase prevalence of scarring or pox marks is due to the fact that as the skin ages and loses collagen, it’s much harder for the skin to repair itself after tissue damage that is caused by inflammation and enlarged pores associated with acne.
Despite the fact that acne is one of the world’s most common medical problems, it is still thought of as being very much a teenage problem. Very little thought is given to the significant psychological effects that the victim may suffer as a result of an outbreak of adult acne. The net result may be in feelings of anxiety and apprehension in leaving the home, and interacting with other adults. These issues must be resolved as part of the long term treatment of the disease.

Female Hair Loss: Finding a Hair Loss Solution
17 August 2008
As a female, if you are facing thinning and losing hair, you are probably pretty stressed by it. However, you will not be worrying and causing more hair to drop once you understand some facts about female hair loss.
You see, in many cases, female hair loss is just a temporary occurance and hence, finding a hair loss solution to it is relatively easy.
Androgenetic alopecia is the hereditary form of baldness that affects 50 percent of men, and some women after 40. Female hair loss usually starts after menopause although it can begin earlier. The main reason for this is that estrogen levels decline. Hormonal changes cause hair to thin.
It is comforting to note that other than androgenetic alopecia, the most common cause of hair loss in women, is a result of metabolic and hormonal changes. Thus, the hair loss is usually temporary. Also, unlike men, women rarely become totally bald. However, what females generally experience is the thinning of their hair.
For example, in the case of pregnancy, hair loss is temporary and should stop about 6 months after birth. When a woman is pregnant, a large amount of oestrogen is produced causing the hair follicles to go into their growth phase. Once the baby is born, the woman’s hormonal balance is restored. The reverse now happens with the hair follicles going into a hair loss phase. While nothing much can be done to prevent hair loss during this period, applying hair tonic to hasten hair re-growth can be a helpful solution.
Crash diets leading to rapid weight loss over a short period of time prompts excessive hair loss.
Physical and emotional stress can cause hair loss but this usually only occurs after a prolonged period of time and in extreme cases.
Once stress levels are restored to normal levels, hair loss should stop. Thus, a good hair loss solution is to find ways to reduce stress!
Certain drugs can also cause hair to shed. The most common medical treatment that causes hair loss is chemotherapy. The drug medication attacks the hair cells, causing hair loss from the scalp. Certain prescription drugs (for thyroid hormone deficiency, diabetes and lupus) and dieting supplements are also causes of hair loss. Once these drug medications are stopped, the hair loss problem should disappear.
Other stresses to the hair may include frequent dyeing and chemicals eg. perming solutions applied to the hair. Generally, healthy hair can undergo these treatments without showing signs of stress, if they are not done too often. But if hair is not allowed a chance to recover from the constant application of hair chemicals, then it becomes brittle and starts to break off. Hair loss treatment products to help strengthen the follicles should help when applied to the scalp.
Once you understand what is happening to your hair, then seek out the right hair loss solution. In most cases, if the cause is temporary, then you can be assured that your problem will pass with the right remedy actions. However, for the more serious cases, do seek the professional help of a licensed dermatologist for a complete diagnosis and treatment plan.
