Most of these problems are usually related to using high dosage or individual genetics. For convenience we’ve divided the potential side effects into those experienced by men, women, and teenagers.

Men – Although anabolic steroids are derived from the male sex hormone, testosterone, men who take them may actually experience a “feminization” side effect along with a decrease in normal male sexual function. Anabolic steroids have also been known to cause severe mood swings. This could have severe consequences in many teens as this age group is characterized by naturally occurring behavioral changes. Although not conclusive, there have been a few cases where anabolic steroids may have contributed to suicide in a few teens. Are anabolic steroids addictive?

Although the evidence is limited it is possible that addiction may be one of the most serious of anabolic steroids side effects. Recent evidence suggests that long-time users of anabolic steroids and steroid abusers may experience some of the classic characteristics of addiction including cravings, difficulty in stopping steroid use and withdrawal symptoms. As the research is limited, it’s not known if the symptoms of addiction are psychological or physiological in nature. For those who use anabolic steroids, coming off the “juice” can be very traumatic as they begin to lose muscular size and strength. How to minimize the risk of anabolic steroid side effects

Given that anabolic steroids are illegal in many countries, it’s probably a good idea to avoid them altogether. If you do decide to use them, the following tips will help you reduce the risk of side effects:

Use oral steroids as sparingly as possible. They have been chemically modified to survive the digestive system and hence much harder on the liver.

Never stay on a steroid cycle for more than 6 to 8 weeks.

Never use any steroids that have a questionable manufacturing background. Beware of the blackmarket.

At the first sign of any serious side effect (chest pain, blood in urine, etc), stop all steroids and see a physician.

Alcohol abuse refers to the chronic consumption and craving for alcohol, so that it interferes in the normal social and economic functioning of the person. Alcohol Rehab tries to treat and bring back to normal victims of this condition.

There are some important points to remember. Supervised withdrawal is the first step and must not be hurried. Hurry can be fatal. A medically supervised detox program is the first step. Next step is to choose a Rehab center. Find a treatment center that deals not only with addiction but the holistic picture of psychosocial and legal problems.
The program must involve a major amount of therapy–counseling and occupational. Therapy or counseling is critical for alcohol treatment. Patients learn to resist alcohol use, replace drug-using activities with constructive and rewarding activities. They are asked to shun alcohol abusing company. They also relearn normal family and social living patterns.
Treatment involves continuous monitoring for alcohol use. Some people may require medication for their treatment, and this too must be monitored. Some may be suffering from mental problems that need special treatment. The treatment duration may vary with each case, but 3 months is a safe period for most treatment.
The main point is that there is no singular Rehab formula. The success of treatment depends on finding the right program and methods. Effective treatment must address the patient’s drug use and also related medical, social, psychological, vocational and legal problems.
The treatment may be long-term, involving periods of relapse. The crucial point is not to give up hope, but work patiently till you reach complete abstinence.

A petition was made by the Petitions Committee of the European Parliament supporting a report condemning the Turkish occupancy, with 26,000 Greek signatures.The report states that as a candidate country Turkey is under obligation to respect fundamental principles of the EU, i.e. respect for civil liberties and property rights. The Famagusta Refugee Council (FRC) believes that Greek ownership would allow communities to co-exist more peacefully and together develop economic independence. The Turkish Cypriot president has not commented on the issue, however Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, publicly supported the Turkish Cyprian President, “Turkey will continue to support the constructive approach of Talat”. He believed a solution would be achieved by the end of the year.Although the leaders have conflicting ideas concerning the reunification of Cyprus, there does not seem to be animosity between the two communities. It is not hard for visiting EU citizens or either communities to cross the divide. It is generally a simple case of presenting a passport, with the exception of non-EU citizens crossing from the north to the south.

You had an idea for a book. It was a good idea and you sat in front of your typewriter or computer and hammered out a draft. You went through a flurry of emotion as the weeks and months went by, but you kept at it and finally, it was complete. You sat on it for a couple of weeks and then picked it up and read it to see if it made sense. You revised it, did a down and dirty edit, then sat on it for another couple of weeks. Now it was time to get serious and you started the self-critique process. Once satisfied you had made it the best it could be, it was time to find a publisher. You’re excited, have visions of fame and fortune and then reality sets in. It comes in the form a solid brick wall as you find that there are a multitude of obstacles which must be overcome before anyone will even look at your work.

So what’s the process? First, get an agent. And yes, to anyone who has tried, that is easier said than done. Like most people in the publishing business, agents are very busy, overwhelmed even by the sheer number of requests for their services. But considering the large, well-known publishing houses deal almost exclusively with agents, it’s in your best interest to keep looking until you find one. Many of the larger publishing houses will not look at anything that is not submitted by an agent. A good agent will help you prepare your work and put together a proposal targeted to editors that deal specifically with your genre of work. Like agents, editors are equally, if not more so, bombarded with submissions everyday. The sad truth is that as a first-time writer, even if you find a good agent, and that agent is successful in getting your work in front of an editor, the chance of it getting attention is still pretty slim. Traditional publishers deal with what they feel will sell. Unless you have something that screams success, or are already well known publicly, it will be tough even for an agent to convince major editors to take a look at your work.

What’s the point then? Is there hope? Of course there is, and that’s the beauty of the system. While the larger publishing houses rely, even demand that your work be submitted through an agent, many of the smaller publishers and more specialized houses do not. In fact, they pay close attention to unsolicited manuscripts as well as those submitted directly from authors. Even better news for the first-timer is that many of the small, independent and medium sized publishers are among the best in the business. Do your homework. Look at publishing alternatives with small, local publishers. Learn what their requirements are and compare your work to titles they have already published. If it’s a match, then you have a good shot.

Then why would anyone go through the trouble of finding an agent first? The simple answer is experience. Quite simply, agents know the business. You, as a first time author, probably do not. An agent will, most likely, have more bargaining power, knowledge of how the system works, and the ability to command a better deal at closing than you. So while we know that it is not always necessary to have an agent, it is always wise.

Okay, how do I find an agent or editor? Good question, and like most things in life, there are rules. Follow them and your chances of success are better than average. Break the rules and your chances are zero. Before you start your search, put together two documents: a query letter and a proposal.

The Query Letter:

The query letter is a one page letter, exactly one page which is used to identify you and your book. Anything beyond that is a waste of time and gives an agent or editor an excuse to toss it, and your chance of getting published. The query letter generally has three sections: the intro, a short synopsis, and an author bio.

The Proposal:

The proposal describes your book and tells agents/editors why it should be published. It should include the following:

- A description of your book

- Who the intended audience is

- Who the competition is

- Author information

- Estimated time to manuscript completion

- Sample chapters

If you’ve started your search for a publisher and gotten bombarded with “Your work is great, but we’re not interested at this time,” don’t despair. There is hope and by looking closer at some of the things I suggest here, you will eventually reach your goal. Be patient, though, it takes time to go the traditional route.

Your dog is more similar to you in their emotions than in their mentality. Some of their emotional reactions are so much like ours, that we tend to humanize them. The dogs emotions are visibly expressed in his eyes and face, his ear and tail movements, his posture, and general behavior. Sometimes they are vocally expressed as well. Your dog can feel and express the same emotions as we do: love, hate, joy, sorrow, grief, anxiety, jealousy, remorse, anger, fear, and even more subtle ones such as distrust and resignation.

Pet dogs have an endearing tendency to imitate their owner’s emotional reactions, which may not weigh much in an argument, but it certainly offers much in moral support. They are no more individual in expressing their emotions than we are. Dogs approach and seek contact with objects and beings that inspire friendly feelings, and avoid or shy away from those they fear. Often a dog will pretend not to see a person or animal he dislikes. A crouching position and a watchful eye mean that he has not yet made up his mind to trust or distrust.

Some facial expressions are much like ours. Worried frowns, angry glares, adoring gazes, suspicious squints, questioning looks, seductive glances, humor, and even genuine smiles. A smile, accompanied by half-closed eyes and ears held low signifies intense pleasure. Dogs express their feelings thru body language more so than facial expressions. A wagging tail and friendly grin are invitations to approach and perhaps make friends, while a snarl, a fixed stare, stiff, straight legs and tail are warnings to keep your distance. The question of distance is important to the dog because of territorial concerns and of survival instincts.

Dogs usually give voice to the emotions, and their meanings are generally clear. A happy dog gurgles or squeals with pleasure. A gentle whine says “please”, and snarling is definitely hostile. Dogs yelp from pain or fear, whine from frustration or pain, and sigh for the same reasons we do. Puppy cries are easiest to interpret, they scream when they are too hot, whimper when cold, and protest loudly when hungry. Barking is usually done to attract attention or to work excess energy if the dog is constrained such as in a kennel. Dogs exchange information among themselves less by voice than by a wide range of facial expressions, body postures and gestures.

An owner who takes the trouble to observe his dog and pay him the courtesy of listening to him, can establish a simple two-way communications system with his pet. Canine messages are usually very elementary, as he asks much less of us than we do of him. “I’m hungry”, “I’m thirsty, “I need to go out”, or “Come with me”, are among the messages he manages to convey very well, considering his limited means. His most eloquent utterance is perhaps the emotional gurgle or barks that mean to say, “It’s about time you came home, I’ve missed you!”

I, and many other men, have been in similar situations many, many
times.

Let me make one thing clear right now that you must understand
before you go out trying to meet women:

WOMEN OF BEAUTY ARE NEVER ALONE!!!!!

You heard me right. Pretty girls have a very high social status.
They are almost always surrounded by people, be they girlfriends,
boyfriends, male “nice guy” friends, brothers, sisters, parents -
whatever! They will always be in groups of people.

But there is a way to navigate that minefield and avoid all these

Group theory is a system by which you actually address the girl’s
friends instead of trying to ignore them. Through group theory,
you win over the girls peer group and turn them into YOUR support
group.

Here’s how it works…

The girl you want to meet is always with her friend, right? And
you’re worried that you can’t approach the girl you like because
the friend will interfere in some way.

So what you do is forget about the girl you like, and approach her friend first!

That’s right…

YOU FORGET ABOUT THE GIRL YOU LIKE AND APPROACH HER FRIEND FIRST!

Now, this doesn’t mean you’re going to try and pick-up the obstacle instead of the girl you really like. It just means you’re going to overcome that obstacle before you reach for your prize!

You do this by acting disinterested in the girl you’re really interested in, and focus on winning over the girl you don’t really care for!

Then, once you’ve won over the obstacle, you ask if you can
“borrow” her friend for a minute because you’ve been neglecting
her. Once her friend gives you approval to talk to her alone,
guess what? You’ve just gotten her STAMP of approval!

This means that the girl you like has no reason NOT to talk to you!

Then, you pull her off to the side, and work your magic one-on-one.
